I’ve chosen to live and guide people from a perspective of Radical Self-Responsibility.

Radical Self-Responsibility is a commitment to growth in service of oneself and humanity. It’s knowing, honoring and living by one’s core values.

Coaching is how I hold myself accountable to all that. How I keep my mind clean and manage my emotions. How I stay true to unlimited possibility and capacity change, so I can do huge things in the world, without compromise. My coaching practice in turn helps you take Radical Self-Responsibility, so you are following through on what you care about: your commitments to yourself and others.

I blend listening, conversation, coaching, and consulting into each coaching session through a consent-based and equity-centered approach that is extremely effective.
My approach means EACH CLIENT gets EXACTLY WHAT THEY NEED.

MY CORE VALUES

01. Integrity

I believe that integrity is key to impact. In our own lives and in the lives of others. When we act with integrity, we speak the truth to ourselves and each other, even when it's inconvenient, disruptive, or uncomfortable. Radical honesty leads to authentic follow-through and extraordinary possibilities. It’s how we build real, sustainable self-trust to create our dream future.

02. Humility

My clients and I love poking fun at our brains, having a laugh at the beauty and the mess we all create with our thinking. Humility is about accepting our humanness and treating it with reverence, kindness and levity. It’s our willingness to be wrong, change our minds and remind our brains we don’t need to be “better than” anyone else. Practicing humility invites more compassion, connection and fun into our lives as we pursue our goals.

03. Love

Love is remembering that all of us are equally worthy of acceptance, respect and flourishing. Our capacity to love others well starts with loving ourselves. My desire is for each of us to love ourselves even when we think we’re hard to love. Even when we’ve messed up or failed. Non-negotiable self-love is the best fuel for courageous leaps, incremental steps, and compassionate course-correction. Genuinely loving and accepting ourselves increases our capacity to genuinely love and accept others.

MY COMMITMENTS

Diversity, Equity, and INCLUSION

I’m committed to showing up in a way that promotes my value of love. That puts me firmly on the journey of unlearning and learning how to live my life and run my business in a way that promotes justice.

I work closely with mentors and specialists who help me to ensure my coaching is equity-centered, thoughtful, and culturally responsive. I am accountable with my time and money so I align with my deep commitment to DEI work.

TESTIMONIALS

Before hiring Katie, I was feeling lost and disconnected from myself. I’m a coach, so I tried to work through it on my own, but it was messy and confusing like I couldn't get anywhere. Katie was a breath of fresh air. The questions she asked me and the certainty she had that I was not, in fact, 'getting it wrong' were everything I needed!

I knew her approach worked when I would catch myself talking more kindly to myself. Not judging myself as much or as harshly. Being more accepting and ok with who I am and what I do.

Now, I feel so much more confident. I spend less time thinking about things that don't even matter. I show up more like my true self and let more people see that side of myself. Katie will forever be 'my go-to coach' for when life starts 'life-ing' again and I need some support! ~ Leslie C.

“I trust Katie implicitly and wholeheartedly and recommend her without reservation to anyone looking for a master of our craft. She's a gem in the world of coaching and a true asset to anyone fortunate enough to work with her.” ~ Krista

“In addition to laser-focused attention, embodied presence, and boundless curiosity, I was touched and impressed by how much of herself Katie brings to the experience. The way she includes her own human experience amplifies the trust and intimacy.

Never hierarchical or imposing, Katie’s guidance in a session feels like a compassionate partner walking in step alongside me in an exploration. This orientation created an experience of unfolding discovery and freshness that helped open my mind and heart.

Katie offered to support me in every possible way at every possible opportunity. It is an honor and privilege to witness and receive her gifts.” ~ Nic H.

“Her ability to listen, hear, and reflect back to you not only what your brain is doing but with some incredible questions or items to shift on yourself is pretty much unmatched in the industry. I was able to speak about my faith - a topic that I tend to get all shifty and defensive about - in a way where I was able to sort out my brain so that I not only understood myself better but was able to let go of some of my fears that were wrapped up inside of the mess as well. Not every coach can hold space enough for me to do that, and it was greatly appreciated. Also, the type of client that she draws towards her is very clearly a kindred spirit” ~ Gloria N.
